PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE COMPLETING APPLICATION

 

Please answer all questions in full, adding as much detail as possible. The purpose of this questionnaire is to get to you know better and what kind of home you can provide for the animal. We want to ensure that the animal is placed in a suitable home that is capable of giving it the highest quality of care possible and a lifetime commitment. 

 

Once you have submitted your application, we will review it and contact you within 48 hours if we feel that it is a good match for the animal's specific needs. Unfortunately we do not have the manpower to respond to every application that we get. We are volunteer run. If you have not heard from us within 2 days, then we feel that your application is not a suitable match or we had many applications and one has been chosen. While we carefully and sympathetically consider all applications that meet our criteria, it is not possible to either give reasons why applications are not successful or enter into any dialogue or correspondence regarding why applications were declined. 

 

If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we will deny your application. Animal rescue groups exist due to lack of spaying and neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle.

It is our policy to adopt kittens under the age of a year in pairs or where there is another young cat in the home to play with. Most cats, regardless of their age, are highly sociable and are truly happier living with other cat companions. This in turn makes them better pets, which results in happier owners. There are however some cats that do well alone so please put in an application anyways.  Our adoption process is not on a first come, first serve basis. We try to match the right cat or kitten into the right home based on their needs and personality. Please respect that process.
